Where’s the light?!

So I just got my Tesla and I have been charging successfully for a few days. I notice though that after some time the green light shuts off. Is this ok? Is it still charging? Because in the last few days, while it seems as though it is charging, the app is not connecting to the car.

Yes, it is normal to turn off the light. I believe it is to not draw attention to the car.

I’m not sure about the app not connecting. Sorry.

Assume you’re referring to the charging ring around the charge port.

Re the app connecting to the car, could the car be out of signal where you charge it? e.g. if you charge in a garage the thick walls might mean the car doesn't have signal. Both the car and the phone have to have mobile or wifi signal for the app to connect. Hope you're enjoying the new car
