Where are the used M3s?

I just checked Craigslist in Portland , Seattle and SF Bay Area for used Model 3 vehicles. Two in Portland, 7 in Seattle and 12 in the Bay Area. Perhaps six months ago, I’d found many times those numbers. Nothing is listed on the factory site for used 3’s. What gives?

Maybe nobody wants to sell their 3’s yet? There isn’t anything to tempt people to upgrade yet (model y not out yet, no change in appearance inside or outside...)

More demand than there are supply?

There are some but not many. Why would people already want to sell their car? As was already said there isn’t really anything to upgrade to.

There is really no point of buying used M3 now. We looked into that recently and gave up. New M3 is the best option.
Im sure Tesla has some used M3s but they don't want to sell them yet.
In 2 months (when we are in 2020) 2018 used Teslas would sell for 32-35 k .
Tesla does not want to sell their beloved car for that low.

I doubt Tesla would hold onto cars hoping their value Drops. Especially since you can get a new RWD for not much more than that.
