Where do you plug in USB for dash cam>?

Where in a 2020 Model S do you plug in your USB memory device for your dashcam video?

Just below your armrest in the center console. Open the flap and you'll see two USB ports next to the cigarette lighter 12v port.

I believe one is date / music and the other is dash cam.....right one is data I believe....thats my set-up

I've used either USB port for Sentry Mode and they both worked fine in our 2019 S. It shouldn't matter which "universal" serial bus port to use, is my expectation. What does matter is the quality of your flash memory card. SD cards/microSD from Samsung and Sandisk all failed me within a few months, and even had a Sandisk USB SD card reader fail. Once I switched to an SSD then no problems for 9 months so far, using either USB port.

Anywhere I would say to "hide" the usb so outsiders can't see it.
