Got jealous when I read the thread about someone else taking a Model S on an extended test drive. Wanted to get a feel for possibly living with the car using superchargers, etc. So, I wanted to rent one for this weekend and take it to Montreal. I spoke to the dealer but he doesn't think he can get one for that long although he was very friendly and said overnighters are common. Affinity which has been mentioned here as a potential source has a Model S, but the mileage will get too expensive to be worthwhile. Anyone have any ideas where I could get one?

I would be interested in that too to go to Montreal...but I think I would pay for that much for a P90D...Montreal is a long way, would need all the range I can get..

I see you've taken some liberties with your Turo listing. 400km range for a 70 is not only above practical limits but above ideal range (385km) as well. 70 also doesn't do 0-60 in under 5 seconds, I believe its 5.4 or 5.5.

No, you don't need more than the S70 that is offered by the Turo renter to get to Montreal from Toronto.
Superchargers are placed well for that trip!

Then rent his car for a week, $1400 for 1500 km, take a side trip or two.
IMHO, that's a fair price for a week in a Tesla you don't own or insure.

That's really not that much more expensive than renting a luxury vehicle (at peak time) when you fly down to Florida...and, to steal from Porsche, "there is no substitute" for a Model S...
