Where to store rear well cover and parcel shelf

Is there a special place to store this cover inside the car when I want to use the rear well? I recall seeing someone insert it into the bottom of the well. Either I can't figure it out or they changed it on the 85D.

While we're at it, same question for the parcel shelf.

Yes, fold over the shorter side and slide it into the footwell. I'm not sure about the parcel shelf though.

Yes. You don't have to fold it over flat, but pretty far then slide one end under. When it sits in the bottom, the flap will stick straight up at the rear of the well.

Also no advice for the parcel shelf, it was not standard when I got my car so I don't have one.

Thank you for this thread! Today at my service center I played around with the footwell cover and multiple visitors to the store were surprised to see the footwell cover could be stored. Well designed!
