Looking at upgrading a rental house with an EV charger. As nice as the HPWC is, I assume it would increase the value of the rental more if it wasn’t Tesla-only.

Can other EVs charge from a NEMA 14-50 outlet? That would be cheap and plenty fast enough for my Model 3, I just don’t know whether non-Tesla’s come with 14-50 adapters.

Or would it have to be j1772 to be sufficiently general? If so, are there recommended outdoor wall-mount EVSE units?
