Which ICE SUV that has comparable autopilot system to Tesla's autopilot on highway?

Hello all,

I am in the market of a ICE SUV for long road trip to back country. I currently drive model 3 every day for work and use autopilot feature on highway drive 90% of time. I wondering if there are any SUV out there that have comparable autopilot system to Tesla's on highway drive or at least close to it? Thanks! Thought I should ask here since some model 3 owners may have a 2nd ICE SUV.

ID.4, see video on youtu.be, but that is not ICE. I guess any Audi or VW would have, same with BMW and Merc. Volvo XC90 have a system. They work a bit different, level 2 systems.

Do a test drive. I had a rental last year and it almost rear a few cars during stop and go. The systems reaction is very slow.

How good is it? I'm probably going to buy the Q4 etron later this year when it hits the US.

Great. When it comes to a complete stop for more than a second you have to pull the stalk to it will resume. Only ever use it on the highway.

Uggghhhh that's frustrating. I hate the idea of losing the auto resume.

Q4 and classic e-tron probably have different systems.
The ID.4 works great and Q4 will probably use that system since they share platform. Pretty similar to Tesla AP3 but the "go with the flow", blended interface is better IMO.

BTW, on ID.4 one taps the accelerator to resume in stop&go. After ca.3-4 (?) minutes at complete stop, it disables.

lanekeeping is great, no scary experiences in 5 months. It also keeps you in the lane when not engaged in ACC, though I typically turn off.

I heard that Volvo's highway autopilot is very similar to Tesla's, with good automatic steering and OK adaptive cruise control. I was told it even works on certain roads in cities similarly to FSD, for example it stops at red lights. It requires you to have your hand on the steering wheel, just like Teslas.

Do you need a high clearance vehicle? Are you carrying a lot of cargo or heavy cargo? A crew cab pickup may be better

I watch TeslaBjorn who tests EVs from all of the major manufacturers (VW/Audi/Porsche, BMW, MB, Ford, ...etc...). None of their AP equivalents work as well as Tesla's even in good conditions.

If the AP in their EVs don't work as well, then their gassers AP won't either.
