I'm having a hell of a time finding a credible answer to this. Does anyone know for sure which wheels are doing the regenerative braking? I thought it was the rear, but lately I'm hearing the front also comes into play at lower speeds. Which is it?
AWD the rear does most and at low speeds the rear will do all regen since it's a permeant magnet. The front is induction so at low speeds it can't do regen.
EDIT: Also the front can be turned on and off (free spin) for propulsion or regen since it is an induction. The rear can't.
