White paint discoloration

Just got a call saying my pearl white delivery has to be rescheduled due to the rear bumper discoloration. It's being sent to a body shop.

Has this issue been resolved on recent deliveries? I'm taking delivery on Monday with VIN ~31000. Pearl White.

I see this slight shading difference on the rear bumper of my pearl white Leaf, so it does happen on other makes/models. I had ordered a white non-P AWD and we were really torn between the white and red, but my wife wanted to change it to red. So, red it is now. Both are very sharp colors and at least the bumper issue is one less thing to think about with the red.

Another positive is that we won't have two white cars.

I took delivery of my Pearl White earlier this month and it is matching great. Seems to be a concern for cars from around March and April, but I think they figured it out now.
