    @Bonnie, dsm, Petefish and others

    Someone told me that they saw a white Roadster in Miami with powder coated white wheels. No pics but it apparently looks super cool. Could be your next upgrade.....:wink:

    Uhhh ... no! Seriously? That sounds a little strange to me.

    Plus I'm planning on new Roadster paint after taking delivery of my Model X. I don't know what color yet. but white wheels won't work (wwww).

    Interesting. Would have to see it in person I guess. I may do that at some point. I love the white but wouldn't mind that custom purple color or the ruby red.

    That would make it a four wheeled, one horn, spinning purple gumball speeder.

    Obviously I was joking. I'd pick pink.

    The black powder coat still looks good to me. Especially when paired with a white roadster. (I need some CF accents though. Still haven't found the right person to make them for me.) I think some chrome might look good as well.

    I know. Purple wheels would require pieces of flair by law and I don't want that on my Roadster. :smile:

    What's wrong w/ white wheels? I like it. Though I'm biased ;)

    For you Bay Area folks I know of a place that does powerdercoating and has experience w/ Tesla wheels. I'm planning to take mine in this Fall and have the grey treatment done.

    I like it on your motorcycle. Agree, needs whitewall tires on the Roadster though. :smile:

    Is that the Miami one? Can't say it's my choice but does have a certain unique cool factor.

    It must be the Miami one. There can't be two of those. ... can there? (Tesla posted it on fb.)

    It must be impossible to keep those brake dust white glove tests clean.
