White seat back discoloration, not random stains?

Hello All,

I know white seat staining has been discussed many times on this site, but my seat looks like the whole back of the seat is becoming discolored. I wear jeans the majority of the time and the seat bottom looks fine it only seems to be affecting the seat back. The whole thing has a reddish/grey look and the piping is dirty. I usually wear moisture wicking golf/ t-shirts and a grey fleece in the winter, nothing that would transfer dye. I took it to the service center and they say it is normal, but it just seems the seat bottom would have the same issue considering it is subjected to more weight. You can see the seat is still very white where there isn’t any contact. The discoloration line is consistent around the whole seat back. I use baby wipes and warm water on a regular basis to clean. My Y is almost a year old with 16,000 miles. Not sure if I have any other options to have this checked out?

The only white upholstery that doesn't show discoloration, stains and worse after a year is upholstery no one has ever sat on. Crazy choice for anyone except very rich people who can afford to swap out their sofas, carpets, or car seats on a very regular basis. If you've got kids and dogs, just forget it! Yes, it's pretty much always going to look dirty, it's the nature of white.

The seat bottom is fine and cleans up great. I wear jeans everyday and there is no dye transfer. I am convinced that there is something wrong with the material of the seat back only not the bottom. You can even feel the back material has a rougher feeling and not as smooth as the seat bottom.
