White Seats: Any Issues?

We're currently looking to buy a Model X for the family. Kids are 9/10 and relatively neat. We don't eat in the car much.

That said, are there any unforeseen issues you've had with the white seats? Do they fade easier, clean up poorly, make the cabin too bright at night? We've always been a black leather family, so I'm just trying to learn from any experiences you're had. Thanks!

This is my third car with white leather. No issues on any of them...but I’m single so that may be different with kids.

No.

But you need to have them cleaned and sealed, especially if you have kids and wear jeans. There will be dye transfer if you do not.

I dont recommend doing it yourself and it shouldn't cost more than $400 to do the whole care. I paid $300 to do my entire X.

We have the white seats in our X with 2 young kids, 4 year old and 20 month old. The seats clean super easy with natural baby wipes. We never applied any protective sealants or products. It has close to 50,000 miles and the seats look pretty much new.

Looking at preowned photos, seems X with white seats look the best over time.
