The Whitefish Lake Lodge in Whitefish Montana has turned on their destination chargers effective today. They have one Tesla plug and one universal plug. They are located in their parking garage and available to guests staying at the lodge. If you are dining at the restaurant you may get permission to charge your car. This excellent property is only 30 miles from Glacier National Park.
Thank you for posting that information. Google maps shows 133 miles from Missoula to Whitefish, so yes that is a great location.
If coming from the west via Couer d'Alene, charge at Superior SC then backtrack to Saint Regis and go north to Elmo then on to (Whitefish). No reason to go as far as Missoula then north.
Good question. Don't know that answer - - - Updated - - - Their property should show up on the Tesla site within the next two weeks. It should show the power level
So...that's my car in the plugshare picture so I can speak to the amps. The Lodge had thought they had 80 amps going to the HPWC and 40 going to the J1772 but I think the electricians didn't get the memo. They were going to look into making it 80 amps on the HPWC after we told them we were only getting 40 amps. Not sure what it's doing now. Perhaps Tinky can stop by during skiing season. I live in NorCal and this was our first true long distance EV road trip. Don't think I'd do it in the winter but it was a great place to stop.
