Who has had a delivery effected by I-5 Closure

So had my delivery rescheduled due to the truck not arriving at Burbank DS last night. Curious as to who else was effected. I-5 still closed at this point and not sure if my reschedule is going to actually happen or be rescheduled again.

They don't keep it closed for days on end. CHP will open it as soon as they can once the snow and ice are cleared. so hang tight.

Originally scheduled to deliver at 26, changed to 27, now changed to 30. Burbank DC

I did. Delayed one day At Carlsbad. Seems simple enough to route back around and come down the 14. Who knows when it’ll show up.

LOL It's not entirely the snow... it's the ice with the ultra steep grade of the Grapevine. Oh... and stupid drivers. lol

Probably not going to affect just Southern Calif deliveries because this snow storm is moving over a great portion of the U.S. —Four Corners and east to Mid-West. Crappy for deliveries and people trying to get home after the long holiday week.

Well i just got the call that my car is now at the Burbank SC. So I’m on for my second delivery appointment tomorrow.

Apple Maps for the Grapevine south on the 5 to Santa Clarita looks much improved. Still two spots (in kind of burgandy color) still showing closed southbound but that was solid burgandy for a good distance earlier today. Hopefully it will be fully opened by Friday for travel both directions.

I learned that Google Maps and Waze detours don't work very well when there are hundreds of cars taking them. 45 minutes to travel 2 miles because of a stop sign and 150 cars in front of you.

I left Encinitas, North San Diego, at 2am. Took 101 up to Sacramento in 10 hours. On the bright side I saw 20-30 trucks with Teslas either parked or heading south. Mine was on one of them. Pick it up Tuesday.
