Hi, about-to-be first time Tesla (MY) owner here. I have purchased a wall connector and will be having an electrician come install it, but I am not clear on whether I need a pedestal.

The MY will be parked outside, not in a garage, on my property. It will be uncovered. I have a wall outlet on the exterior of the house, and I believe it is less than 18 feet away. Should I be ok?

The pedestal is for installations where you don't have a wall to screw the wall charger to. Sounds like you can put it on the exterior of the house where your 240V receptacle will be.
