Who went to the Fashion Valley grand opening tonight?

I know at least one of you went. Saw a Model S with the black/yellow retro plates that said "GHRG PLZ"... I know I've seen that plate on these forums somewhere...

In any case, I had a blast but was a wallflower as the wife bailed last minute and was there alone. Good food though, and the open bar was a nice surprise! It's kind of funny to see that a lot of owner driven Teslas were clustered together in the parking structure as well. Sadly those spaces were too narrow for my paranoia so I had to pass.

I RSVP'd but ended in Urgent Care passing a kidney stone instead.

Thanks for the pictures. It looks like the same size and layout as the UTC store, maybe even a little smaller. For some reason I thought it would be a little bigger.

I was there from about 5 to 6, also being a wallflower, enjoying the good food and cold beer. I ended up speaking to a couple of the Tesla employees. One told me that they have 7 (I think) HPWCs in the parking lot somewhere near the store.

The car you saw is mine :smile: Had to park far away since the other lots were a madhouse. You can see me in your second picture wearing the leather jacket - I ended up talking with my owner advisor about random stuff for the entire evening! Very cool event, I'm sure the new location will get a ton of business. And yes, there are a set of chargers at one of the parking structures now, although I'm not totally certain which structure they're at.

I was there with my family! Got there around 730. My son loves Teslas and it was fun chatting with all the awesome tesla crew and my original delivery specialist Mike.

Oh that's really cool that the car sold! Hopefully the SoC will take care of that nasty curb rash it has one of those those wheels, first. Heh. Cheers to all who made it. Perhaps next time a thread should be started BEFORE the event so people can meet up if they want.
