Why are all the DCU/Tesla Rate match threads locked? Anyone gone through this process recently?

Is the whole DCU/Tesla rate match process still attainable? I noticed all the previous threads were locked. Just wanted a recent success story confirmation before I jump through all the hoops.

I just called the 800# and the Tesla rep said he was just informed they are no longer doing rate matches.

True, but I enjoy using that cash as a stablecoin and earning 9% interest paid weekly.
I'm basically making money on my Plaid loan.

I do quite well in the market but don't invest my last dime. I keep ca$h on the sidelines and my powder dry. I'd prefer investing the $3K-$5K in loan fees in PPF and other accessories.

A matter of personal preference I guess, but I don’t see a reason to pay cash for a car if one gets 1.24% interest. Stock market or leverage that as a downpayment for a rental house/apartment seems to be a better use of the cash.

I got approved for a 2.49% loan through Tesla Financing today and I asked if they could shop around and beat it, like Ive read people do on this forum, and he said they don't do that and 2.49% is the best they offer. I suspect this is tied together with the no longer matching.

To answer your (and others) thread question, because TMC does not allow either referral code posts, nor support rampant exploitation, as was the case with what was happening with DCU.
