Why aren't the back seats level?

Still waiting on my MYP to arrive and researching as much as possible in the meantime. One thing I've noticed in just about every picture I've seen of MY back seats is the top of the right seat is higher than the others? Are they all this way? Is this by design?

In my car the seat backs are level, but in one position (there are two) the right side sits forward a little more. I have seen others that are not. My assumption is it's some tolerance stack between the latch, the seat frame, and the vehicle body. In the fully reclined position it is more level.

Maybe one is reclined and the other isn't?

Sometimes it isn't fully latched?

I think this wa a issue with the early cars they have since addressed the issue. Unless your car was built on a Friday.
