Why aren't there adaptive headlights?

    Adaptive headlights have been around for luxury vehicles for a while. Why wasn't it designed into the x? The s just got it.

    I'm getting the Model S facelift in June with adaptive LED. I have that in my Bmw too. It's really incredible.

    I don't think the Tesla LEDs will exclude cars.

    The Tesla concept of Adaptive Headlights is a bit more limiting than other manufacturers. "Three-position dynamic LED turning lights", as it's listed under the Premium Package, is a probably a better description.
