Yes, because it’s a nearly empty parking lot...But what about the other side? Would be hard to find an empty lot between two nice cars.

This doesn't apply to nearly empty parking lots, but I tend to park next to the nicest car I can find in the lot with an empty space next to it in the hope that they don't want their car dinged either.
Which is exactly the strategy which those other cars are using, though you have no idea why they'd want to protect those non-Teslas.This. Park next to the nicest, cleanest car, or at an end spot next to a curb so at least you’re only at risk of door dings on one side.
Again I will go with KC. This effect happens all over the world. It seems the distance to the door squared is justWhich is exactly the strategy which those other cars are using, though you have no idea why they'd want to protect those non-Teslas.
And cars with 2 doors.I've always been choosey when it comes down to what car I park next to. I avoid trucks and vans, lol.
haha. I dodge trucks because there's no way they can hop off a big truck without having to swing the door all the way open. With vans because might be a whole circus inside, even if the door slides back, it'll likely come packed with strollers and bunch of randos. And cars with 2 doors.

"VIP" curtains or sketchy curtains? lolAnd vans with curtains!
Yes"VIP" curtains or sketchy curtains? lol
The haters know you are trying to avoid all the vehicles parked next to you, so they park next to you on purpose.
my guess is its one of the 2 above, no other reason i could think of...This doesn't apply to nearly empty parking lots, but I tend to park next to the nicest car I can find in the lot with an empty space next to it in the hope that they don't want their car dinged either.

Nah, you look for "orphan" cones alongside of the road / highway and you give them a new home. Something like this one:time to buy some cones from amazon lol
NO! If you take that cone, someone might fall into that pothole and die. Then it would be negligent homicide.Nah, you look for "orphan" cones alongside of the road / highway and you give them a new home. Something like this one:
