Why does my car draw 2v when plugged in and not charging

I'm fairly certain it's a display bug.

It may actually be a tiny amount of voltage that is inductively coupling across the contactor in the EVSE unit (wall connector or UMC). When the car is not calling for power it has the EVSE shut off power on the cord to the car by using the contactor in the EVSE.

If you run a 120v electrical wire in a conduit along with another wire which is ungrounded and not attached to anything then you will likely measure close to 120v in that “floating” conductor due to induction.

Oh, and it could also be expected inaccuracy in some current CT’s in the Tesla.
