Why I cancelled my order

Poor build quality. Literally the worst fit and finish of any of the countless vehicles I have ever owned. Absolutely no pride just production. I rejected my first model y and just now decided to cancel my order. My time is obviously not valued when I’m expected to do a vehicle inspection for obvious issues and then have to come back to a service center and have them repaired on a new very expensive car. These are just the things you can see. NO WAY!!! Im going back to building assets not creating liabilities.

They don't even try to hide/fake it anymore these days.

At least you can say you got the car and found those issues, hence you are selling it type of story line is way better than "I cancelled my order because I see negative stories on the internet about the car that I never owned".

How much do you get paid (if you are not a bot)?

It's probably not even worth it to respond anymore to "poor build quality" first posts. The MY and M3 booth had teething problems when first introduced, as do all new models from every manufacturer. Just from reading here, it seems like these issues have diminished to the point where a post like the OP's indicates either he got a rare legitimate lemon or he's a troll.

Now, when either the CT, the Semi or the new Roadster debut, I suspect the justified fit and finish posts may return.

So: pray tell, what did you buy ? 😂🤦‍♂️

I believe the OP... My MYLR's (delivered in March 2022) build quality is not the greatest (and I have been a member for a long time for those "checking" the post counts, etc.)

I am not surprised that someone does not want to deal with taking their brand new car in to fix production issues. Tesla is not a startup anymore. They need to (and can) do better. Sadly, they are solely driven by how many cars can they manufacture and deliver in a quarter...
