I believe the OP... My MYLR's (delivered in March 2022) build quality is not the greatest (and I have been a member for a long time for those "checking" the post counts, etc.)
I am not surprised that someone does not want to deal with taking their brand new car in to fix production issues. Tesla is not a startup anymore. They need to (and can) do better. Sadly, they are solely driven by how many cars can they manufacture and deliver in a quarter...
Yes, there are still lemons in the group, some have perfect fit and finish others not very good... the point being, even if fit and finish is crap take delivery anyway and if you don't like it sell the car for several thousand more than you paid for it. That is the economically sound way to handle the situation. Denying delivery is just wasting your time and refusing to make money. This may change in the coming months when the used car market stabilizes.
