Why I'm buying a Tesla

This is an old video, but it pretty much puts into words why I'm buying a Tesla. Elon has outlined that Telsa isn't about the technology that's used in the car, if it has self driving, etc. Tesla's mission is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy future. I believe in that future too and that's why, for me, I'm buying one.

Hopefully in the future coal, natural gas, oil etc. will be a thing in the past that we will look back on and laugh at the idea of ever using these recouces that produce so much pollution and waste in not only using them but also In mining them.
