Why is the model Y the red headed step child of Tesla?

Except its not an SUV, not even close.. Its closer to a car then a SUV... the MYP is also even lower then some cars.

Well, tell us the attributes of a car vs SUV, and then look at Model 3 vs Model Y: Taller, higher ground clearance, AWD, 7 seat capable, large rear hatch, flat loading interior... um... hmmm....

You realize you are making my point? To not give features common to their other models to their best selling model IS nonsensical. They need to correct this. I want to give Tesla $175 for something that costs them $20 to make... but they won't sell it to me! I want the track mode Elon promised long ago... I don't give a damn if not everyone thinks it is "necessary".

If the point here is that there should be more bells and whistles for what we are paying, I'd have to agree. Things like HUD would be a great addition and not detract from the minimalistic design and an option in most vehicles at this price range.

More bells and whistles would be welcome... at minimum I want the car to have equal equipage to other Tesla performance models.
