Why is the new mobile charging cord 110v only?

You mean "why does the mobile charging cord only COME STANDARD with the 120v connector"? Because tesla has you buy the ones you need separately now (cost cutting). It still supports all the adapters, you just have to buy them separate now.

Here’s an illustration from the user manual. You do have to really tug to remove the current adaptor. I also think the entire unit needs to be unplugged from the outlet.

My buddy just bought a Tesla and u can’t put an adaptor in the mobile charger. It’s 110v only. I looked at it and that is the case. I have 2 Tesla’s and I know about the adaptors. U can’t do it it the cord they gave him

Who is "They" and was the car brand new, bought from Tesla? If so, then you are not correct. If not (the car is used, or bought from "someplace else" then we have no idea what you have.
