Why Tesla should never make a profit

Hedge funds and value investors are accustomed to pricing profitable companies at very low multiples and short sellers will use this opportunity to short the stock if Tesla ever becomes profitable. This is why I think Tesla should never make a profit and continue to raise capital by issuing stocks and bonds. Instead of looking at fundamentals and valuing it like a traditional company, Tesla stock should be treated as an equity-commodity hybrid and be valued like a bitcoin.
