placed MY long range sep 2021, and recently assigned VIN (austin vin) and delivery next week. But I just found the VIN not showing on my account anymore. Asked tesla and was told the vin assigned is not for east coast (don’t know what that means), they will assign me a new vin in next few weeks. Anyone experienced this?

The vehicles built at the Fremont factory are transported by truck to two locations (Milpitas and Richmond).
Then you can review this map to follow the itinerary taken by the trains.
I imagine that the Tesla vehicles get reassigned to the final owner upon arrival at various depots.
