The quarter panels appear to have a poor fit, the gaps are not even. If this is an "aero kit", what is the benefit to the car's aerodynamics? It seems that what has been added would increase, not decrease drag on the car.

I like how it looks. But Amped is right, poor fit and the gaps are uneven. You can see all of that in the 4th picture (side shot)

Yea I was wondering what was up with that. The quarter panels don't look good at all. I'm not a fan of this particular mod. It just doesn't look natural. Kinda reminds me of something you'd buy from pep boys. And the wheel well fin thing. Not good.

you may be critiquing TM fit and finish. This kit doesn't look like it does anything but add to the fender arch and side skirts.

The gaps I'm talking about are near the top of the front fender arches. It looks like that is an add-on piece. The before photo does not show the same gaps, so it's not likely a TM issue.

I'm a fan, but sadly the S is wide enough in stock form

Agreed. The after market MFR could have done better. I expect a darker color would be much less obvious. But aside from that, it looks very sharp Wan888! Love the wheels and bet it was fun to do.

Yeah indeed, as I was rushing them to get it done within a couple of hours (wanna get it ready for morning drive) that pcs was definitely overlooked. I will have it adjusted next week cos it's CNY holiday here and no one there to help.

When I was running the 19s and even when I drive the loaner with 21s the car struggle to get grip, the traction control light is always on whenever I accelerate.

The aerokit is meant for better handling/grip and yes, it did the job well but yes, I think I did sacrifice some range but it's worth it to me.

The 22" wheels however makes the acceleration a tiny bit slower, that makes sense but it looks good!
I'll probably go with 21" on my D next time.

How did the wheel arches attach to the body of the car? did they screw it into the body panels?

The gap people have been pointing out is in the fender arch add-on so it's not Tesla.
