Wife hit fence

As the title says, my wife hit a gate and has scraped the paint from the rear near side door and the rear wheel arch. Looks to be no dents, just paint removed down to the primer. I think. The car is leased from Tesla. I don't want to go through my insurance if at all possible but accept I may have to, but... as it is leased will I have to use a Tesla approved body shop to get the paint to match and guarantee a satisfactory finish.

What should I do next? Contact Tesla, and go from there, or just find a body shop near me and get them to do the work?

I would get some quotes and check your agreement whether the terms state you need to let the lease company know of the damage. In essence though you need to repair the car by the end of the lease to avoid damage charges.
