Wife's Key FOB says X cannot be driven and one last drive is possible. What gives?

never seen this error/warning message before. Changed the battery twice now and i cant image that still being the case.

any ideas on why her key FOB is throwing or giving out these warnings? any specific resolve to fix it?

I had a FOB go bad, started chewing through batteries weekly. SC replaced it for me for free and gave me a small bag of batteries as a "sorry".

Hi @djillusion ,

I have had several FOBs go bad...
There could be corrosion on the battery contacts in her FOB.

It may need to be replaced by the Service Center
or add a FOB problem on your next mobile request.
They can create a new FOB for you in the field.
(They must know in advance to bring a blank FOB.)

thanks @ShawnA and @DSolie - tesla mobile service came out this AM and replaced the key FOB that was acting up.

all good now and they seem to have programmed the two separate keys to match when my wife or I enter the X the proper profile sticks with it (finally!!!).
