Living in Northern California I'm used to the wildfires, although I'm used to the smoke filling the Sacramento valley I'm certain damage is being done to my lungs.

I'm not too worried about myself as much as I am about the my child that will arrive in 7 months!

My question is, will biodefense mode filter out the smoke?
Anyone have first hand experience?

Yes. I can verify from first-hand experience that the filter deals handily with wildfire smoke.

This was a *clear* day during the fires here in the Gorge. I was breathing clean air inside my X. I'm going to get the filter checked the next time I visit my local service center - I'm curious as to what it looks like.

Most likely. But you also should worry about central valley smog pollution....
Will the car help with the smog?

Thank you!

Awesome! That's the answer I was hoping for
