Will future cars even have rear windows?

Why would you replace a rear window with a laggier, much lower resolution display panel that has inferior dynamic range and color? :tongue:

I use my rear window to see to back up but in my wife's car the window is so high and short that it's nearly useless so I use the camera. The worst part in my opinion of getting rid of the window (and this already applies to SUVs with super black window tinting) is the inability to see through a car in front of you to see what traffic is doing ahead of them.

Purely so that kids have another window to look out from. And they're nice to have for those sad, extended waving goodbye scenes. (yea, I'm a sappy kinda guy.)
