Good evening people, first timer here. I purchased a salvage model 3 from auction in Gardena CA. It has 3000 miles already
Purchased used parts, car came with 2 fog keys, I charged the 12 volt battery put car doesn’t shift to drive need help. I would really appreciate it.

...car doesn’t shift to drive...
Interesting third picture of the car (not) powering up. When my S MCU1 died I got that message on my instrument cluster. Surprisingly, although the error never cleared by itself, it would clear after 20 seconds with my foot on the brake. Then it would shift into drive . You should try that if you haven't.

On an S/X I would have suggested to check the fuses, but I think your 3 doesn't have fuses, only auto resetting breakers.

Also, you should start your own thread. Post a link here to the new one. I suspect you will have a lot of interest. You can report your topic to moderators and ask for a new thread. Tell them what title you want. I would suggest: Salvage 3 Systems (not) Powering Up.

Can you guys all stop with the misinformation? I've rebuilt over 10 Tesla cars and they all have supercharging enabled, LTE working, and still receive updates. Depending on the service center, they will service your car as long as you pay.

To OP, if you are really this worried, have your car rooted and it can be re-enabled remotely if Tesla ever does disable it.
I just sent you a PM with some questions about this! I could totally use your insight! Thanks!
