Will Tesla Honor Previous Price Change?

So I ordered a Model Y like 3 days after the unveiling back in March 2019. I guess the total for my order is $60,500. Now that the prices have changed in the website, will Tesla honor my old price or will they change it when they contact me?

Hi guys, I have a European Model Y order with a price of 64.450,00 EUR i considered "locked".

However, I checked my order today and now the indicated price is 65.430,00 EUR.

Should I contact Tesla about this? Or are prices just not locked? In that case, why did I put down a deposit? If I had invested that in shares I'd have made a better deal.

I doubt the prices are locked in when you pre-order.

Interestingly enough...

Our pre-order price is $510 more than the new price (we opted for 19”)
I’ll have to make sure they correct this (or wait to see if they update to 20” for -0- addtl — not really interested in larger wheels though)

If you re-edit your order, the price will be adjusted.

Prices usually locked in when you configure your car and place deposit.

If prices go up, typically Tesla will honor original pricing. Even include running upgrades entering production.

Just putting a deposit down as a line place holder does not fix pricing...only after configuration.
