We are having our siding replaced in the first part of next year. We have a Solar + Powerwall setup with the Powerwalls inside but the inverter and other boxes are on the side of the house.

Had anyone had luck getting Tesla to pull some of the inverters and other boxes away from the siding so they can replace the siding behind it?

Some things like the inverter and cutoff switched are surface mounted and seem easy to deal with but others like the backup and generation panel have wires going through the wall into the back.

Contractors I'm talking with say other solar companies will do that they just don't have experience with Tesla.
