Will the marketshare of Plug-In cars in the US in 2015 be more than 1%?
Which Plug-In car models will be in the 2015 US top-ten?

Two straightforward questions actually. Although it's highly likely that we will come up with different answers/opinions/expectations/thoughts/guesses.

The total number of Plug-In cars sold in the US in 2014 will be a little less than 120,000. You probably will not disagree with me on this. Just look at the websites of Inside EV's dot com and Hybridcars dot com.

The total number of Plug-In cars sold in the US in 2015 will probably be more than 150,000. At least a few of you will disagree with me on this. As this number is just a guess. But certainly not impossible.

In 2014 the 10 best selling Plug-In car models in the US are currently:
Nissan Leaf
Chevrolet Volt
Tesla Model S
Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid
Ford Fusion Energi
Ford C-Max Energi
BMW i3
Smart ForTwo Electric Drive
Ford Focus Electric
Fiat 500E

Which Plug-In car models will be in the top-ten at the end of 2015? And what will the ranking look like at the end of 2015?
