As you await the release of the Model X with the awesome Falcon Wing Doors within hours, here's a car with a disappearing door to keep you entertained until the Model X announcement :tongue:
It is impressive they devised this so long ago and it is a shame that so few concepts ever become real cars. The upcoming Model X will be a testament to how production cars can be just as exciting, or even more so, than concepts. I have a feeling the Model X will obliterate the premium SUV segment. Just hope they can ramp up production quickly to meet demand.
I doubt the disappearing door concept would be practical for the Model X with the battery pack taking up the floor space...
