This makes sense because our cars will have full self driving in 2 weeks. And with full self driving, you can sleep while the car drives you. So if you're laying down that orientation actually is perfect.

You aren’t getting a horizontal screen in a pre-refresh Model S. Any replacement screen would be vertical, same as the original.
