Window Trim extreme discoloration

I have started getting some pretty bad discoloration on my 2021 M3 exterior window trim. My car is garaged so not sure why this is happening. I've tried turtle wax, back to black, other cleaning sprays, and even ceramic coat but nothing seems to help. I also opened a service request. Does anyone have this extreme level of discoloration? It almost looks dirty but does not wipe off.

Ugh, that sucks. It's the soap used by your car wash place. There's a long thread about it in the Y forum as they got a head start on the black trim:

I have a 10 week old MY, and the black trim is starting to show rainbows and almost a rust in some places. Assuming this is from chemicals in a touchless car wash. Thoughts on restoring it, then protecting it?

How did it go with the appointment? Did Tesla replaced the trims under warranty?
