Windshield cracking in 2019 Model X

Hi All. I am very very disappointed in Tesla service. I had the windshield crack back in January, the car was left in my parking lot for 2 weeks without driving. When I took it, I noticed a long crack at the bottom of it. Brought to service and tech said it was due to an impact. I bit the bullet and paid the 2200$.
Now, 4 months later, same exact thing happened and AGAIN tech says it’s due to an impact!!
I am pissed to say the least... Any one else had that happened?

There was an exact same case on model X just a few months back on here. That guy get Tesla to replace the second time under warranty

That was me.

Did you have any pictures? When mine cracked the second time, I photo’d it immediately and contacted the shop that did it. Because it cracked below the line of the hood (in wiper alley) there was no question about it not being impact related.

Big difference is Tesla has no service center here in NS, so they have authorized local shops that do the work. In my case, Tesla wrote the expense off as a shipping/handling incident, so they probably had an insurance company cover it.
