Windshield fog?

I know I’m not the only one irritated with how fast the windshield fogs up and I’ve gotta run the defrost (which is slow btw) to see through it. So my question is what do you guys recommend to keep the windshield from fogging up? What really works?

Last Winter I left the heat set to Auto for the entire season, no issue with fog. This year mid Winter got an "update" , fog problem started.

Only way I solved it was to turn the temperature up and leave it on manual with window and feet selected.
