I'm also going to try C-Bond nanoshield on my new Model Y.

Interesting idea regarding PPF. I haven't heard of that being used on a windshield but I haven't looked into it.

Madico ClearPlex. I know rpmtesla sells the rear corner glass piece pre cut. They say they can do windshield and roof also. But from what others have said… it scratches due to wiper use so look forward to maybe needing to replace it every 1-2 years depending on where you live.

Please report back with your experience if you do go with clearplex.

I spoke to my PPF guy and he said they don't use PPF on the windshield because it doesn't work due to the scratches. He suggested I just use the ceramic for water to bead up.

On my M S I do have tint film but that is applied on the inside.
