Windshield replacement near Montreal

It finally happened. I went on a 8000km road trip in a 2014 Model S with no issues whatsoever. My luck finally ran out right after I got back home. Got a rock impact right on the left bottom corner of the windshield resulting in a crack spreading right across it.
Anyone had a windshield replaced lately? Does Tesla still do them or do they send it out to a third party? I’d rather not deal with third party’s since it has the AP1 setup and I’m worried Lebeau would not calibrate the camera. If anyone around Montreal has been through this lately I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

Just had mine replaced at Tesla on Monday on my Model 3. Just scheduled an appointment on the app. It cost $1218 tax in.

I'm on my 4th windshield on my 2013 S. Just a bad luck sequence I'm hoping. Always changed the glass at nearby Lebeau on St Jacques. I have so much stuff on hold with the montreal service department due to backorder of parts or no time to repair that I go to other shops for most of my regular stuff. Lebeau orders the glass from Tesla but is able to replace it way more quickly than Tesla ever could these days.

I asked at Lebeau but they wouldn’t touch it because of the camera calibration issue. Waiting on Tesla now.

There is Vite Vitre Jacques. Tesla have them coming to Montdeal SC to change glasses. They are not cheap, but they do a good job. In my case they charged directly the insurance which was helpful.

I do exterior windshield protection film here in Montreal.

Our roads are so full of construction debris...not worth it for everyone but for people who want to avoid replacement it is piece of mind.

It is a nice add on with Paint Protection film.

There are no aftermarket rear windows and tesla does not sell to garages so Tesla is your only option

Figured that. Took an appointment at local SC as soon as I've seen it. Someone pointed out to me on a private group it could be covered under warranty as there's no impact. We'll see Dec 6th... Still curious how much it would cost me if it's not.

I was quoted $1100 or $1300 for front windshield by Tesla Oakville this summer (I'm guessing before taxes). Didn't end up doing it as it was a small crack that I got filled and is holding.

Ok, that's what I though. To be clear, in my case, it's the back windshield. No impact visible, just cracked in the middle.

To my best knowledge, according to your description and pic it looks like a defect. So it should be paid by Tesla. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I had my rear glass replaced in Montreal under warrantly due to a stress fracture, smaller than yours but there seems to have been a defect in the glass, there are threads about this issue on the forum. Usually it cracks on the sides though not in the middle.

Small update. Currently being replaced under warranty since there's no impact.
