Six weeks ago our Tesla took a devastating rock to the windshield. We live about three hours from the nearest service center, so we opted to have a local glass shop complete the new windshield installation. It took over a month but last week we finally had our new windshield installed. Today, a 12 inch crack appeared in the brand new windshield, extending from the bottom. We were traveling over a mountain pass so it could have been another rock BUT we did not hear a thing and is our luck really that bad? Is it possible we received a defective windshield or that it was installed incorrectly?
