Winter , snow driving

Have a mid Jan trip from Seattle to Sun Peaks Ski Resort, wonder about need for Chains or other traction aids.

I find that my snow tires are amazing for unexpected weather, but overkill for driving on plowed roads to a resort.

My S85 (2015) has only rear wheel drive. I didn't needed the chains (I have them, better save than sorry) at all.
Not even when I drove to Norway/North-Cape in Winter 2017. :-O

If you own a "D" 4-wheel Tesla, you will not need them on normal roads.
