Winter tires for Model X

I am looking to buy winter tires for my model X. What are the recommendations? 19" versus 20" and brand?

19" for winter 100%. They are cheaper and last longer. As for band I would pick Pirelli or Michelin.

Don't buy your tires from Tesla, you will not get a warranty on them nor can you buy certificates.

I just bought, mounted a set of wheels and winter tires for my X from Tire Rack. I only use them for trips up to Utah Dec-Mar.
The cheapest were the 20" Bridgestone Blizzaks. Can't say about the snow performance yet although Tire Rack rated them higher than Pirellis IIRC. But they do sing a bit at freeway speeds. Something the Michelin X-Ice never did; quieter than my all-seasons and grippy. Couldn't get the Michelins from Tire Rack for my X90 or I would have.

In Oregon at least, Tire Rack will add the quieting foam to tires if you ask. Cost me about $100 in 2013 when I bought my first Tesla with 21"
