Winter wiper outside protection method

For those who park outside, you've probably had a problem where it snowed or iced overnight and the wiper tray became a solid ice cube. Here's my solution:

Preparation: Use 18" cling wrap. if the temperature is much colder than -5 C use the furniture wrapping kind rather than the kitchen film.

Snowed over:

Snow mostly brushed off:

Plastic wrap removal--no ice cube:

What a great idea. But I am so glad I live in Florida and don't have to use it

I've known people to use that on the whole car before a storm. Then they come out and bam, clean car!
