Thank you so much. Where do we buy these Tesla blades from? The wiper blades have a tube connection because the fluid comes out of the blade itself. So you cannot use universal wiper blades. See here:
I use the most basic washer fluid. The $1-2 per gallon blue stuff.
Thank you so much. Where do we buy these Tesla blades from?
I found one on Amazon: Amazon.com
How often are people having to replace wiper blades? At that price hopefully they'd last more than a year.
Granted. I should have clarified my question to refer to Tesla's that are garaged.Depends where you live. If you park outside in in somewhere with a ton of sun it'll deteriorate much faster than if you park inside.
You buy them from Tesla. AFAIK, there are no third party substitutes. I just replaced my factory originals a fe weeks ago. June 2018 to Dec 2021.Thank you so much. Where do we buy these Tesla blades from?

We never replaced them in the 3 years we owned our 2018 X.Granted. I should have clarified my question to refer to Tesla's that are garaged.
My 2018 X is parked outside. Replaced my wipers for the first time last month. I would bet the climate diffs are the main reason for shorter life. I've actually replaced my windshield more often than the wiper blades! Twice, go figure!Disclaimer: Seattle, rains 200 days a year... <--- Important
I am definitely not a fan of RainX. As you describe I have experienced stick and release jitters when I used it.Thanks everyone for your replies. I too have that slight smearing on the windshield where the left blade reverses course and shudders if the speed isn't just right. I was wondering if it was because I'd used a Griott's Garage glass sealer that's like RainX (which I just recently disovered that the manual recommends against doing).
I was looking at my blades yesterday on our 3/21 build Model Y and they look to have a different configuration from the Model X with the washer fluid coming out of the blade itself. There seems to be 2 nozzles for fluid on one side of the middle of the blade. I need to confirm that though with my reading glasses on. And here's an Amazon link for Model 3/Y blades:Just an fyi. Amazon has a set for $62.99.

I replaced mine at Tesla for only $85, and their techs do the work. Does not seem be too much of a deal.Just an fyi. Amazon has a set for $62.99.
