wiper blades stopping in heavy rain

since the last upgrade, when I am in heavy rain, in either the intermittent or constant wiper modes, the wipers have been stopping mid stroke.

it's annoying and a bit dangerous, but if you quickly turn the wiper off and on it will go for awhile until it stalls again. reboots later haven't helped, though I don't reboot while driving in pouring rain.

anyone know if tesla's fixing this soon? my service center had 2-3 reports from other people but didn't know when it might be corrected.

It's been raining non-stop here for 3 days and I haven't seen this behavior. What firmware version? Does it matter if it's set to full "on" vs auto settings?

Hope they get it fixed for you quickly.

That is weird wiper behavior. I do not remember seeing that reported before on TMC.

yes. It happens in auto or manual modes.
